Mucositis (related to chemotherapy)

For patients who suffer mucositis (related to chemotherapy): Avoid glycerin or alcohol containing mouthwashes!!

Teach the patient to rinse their mouth with saline solution twice a day, use a soft toothbrush, and eat soft/bland foods.
