    Jeri Christiansen is a Master’s-prepared Registered Nurse with more than 32 years of progressive healthcare experience. Her career began as a Licensed Practical Nurse and advanced through earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and assuming leadership roles in nursing administration and education.

    Her clinical background includes 16 years in long-term care, including 10 years as a Director of Nursing, where she provided leadership in patient care, staff development, and regulatory compliance. She also spent 10 years in hospice care, serving in roles that encompassed case management, after-hours on-call support, and direct patient care.

    Jeri transitioned into nursing education as a Simulation Technician before joining academia as a full-time nursing faculty member. She currently serves as the Practical Nursing Program Coordinator, where she teaches courses in nursing fundamentals, leadership, laboratory, and clinical practice. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she oversees program administration, supports student success initiatives, and contributes to the ongoing development and excellence of the nursing program.
