Daniel Eaton is an Associate Teaching Professor at Penn State's Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing where he teaches a variety of nursing courses. Dan is a certified nurse educator, certified psychiatric nurse, holds his doctorate degree, and is in the process of completing his psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate at Penn State University. Professor Eaton has a focus in teaching community health, care of the older adult, and mental health nursing. He also continues to work clinically in community-based mental health. Dan is committed to mentoring and supporting academic success through evidence-based teaching strategies and interdisciplinary perspectives.
